Being a House Mother at Sofia’s House is a blessing from God. While spending time with these young mothers and babies you are providing an atmosphere of serenity and security. Besides providing structure and teaching responsibility to these young women we are also allowing them to observe the walk of Jesus Christ in us. As house moms we are their example and leader in the ways of the Lord. As a mother figure our goal is to provide a home filled with the epitome of 1 Corinthians and to impart that to the young moms and down through to the babies that are brought in to our midst. The love of God is the essence of what we provide for these wonderful young mothers who are hungry and eager to learn. They are such a blessing and a joy.

Finances: You may make a one-time donation or choose a monthly donation. You may also choose to pay a particular utility every month. Sofia’s House runs solely on private donations and an occasional grant. There is NO GOVERNMENT FUNDING. Please be generous!!

We believe that we contribute to the community by providing safe and compassionate support to the unsupported pregnant women. Our homes bring hope and a future that might not otherwise be experienced. Our heart is for the women and their babies to be able to go out on their own, fully able to contribute to others and to their community.
